QA/CM Specialist
Primary Duties: Provide system
analysis, governance, quality assurance and configuration management (CM)
support to government client. Support
the Government in operating the Change Control Board (CCB) process for Existing
Systems releases to ensure coordination between various service providers
supporting the existing system releases. Develop and implement an integrated CM plan for all operational systems.
Establish and maintain configuration
baselines for releases of existing systems. Coordinate between the
governance process and the CM process to ensure traceability of system
enhancements to user requirements. Provide quality
assurance support for enhancements to the
FMCSA Portal and legacy systems. Ensure that adequate quality control and
testing is performed for all software development activities.
Qualifications: Bachelors with 10+ years experience in system engineering, analysis and/or development. Thorough
understanding of the software development life cycle. Experience providing QA
and/or CM leadership for critical operational systems. Familiarity with
configuration management and change control automated tools, e.g. StarTeam.
