IT Capital Planner
T3 Technologies is seeking an IT Capital Planner to assist
us in Washington, DC. This
position is responsible for project control and program management functions
for medium to large scale programs.
Areas of responsibility include earned value management system
implementation, schedule development, maintenance, OMB Exhibit 300 business
case and Exhibit 53 development, reporting and tracking for any or all capital
investment projects/programs within certain sectors in the for our federal
clients.
This position provides direct, one-on-one support to Project
Managers/Leads in assessing program performance and providing input to earned
value management and project control reporting.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
following: utilizing scheduling software (such as Primavera and/or Microsoft Project) as the project
management tool; setting up and maintaining individual project schedules as
well as establishing an integrated schedule for projects/programs; monitoring
of the critical resources needed for the projects; performing critical path and
schedule variance analysis; utilizing program management best practices for
implementation of earned value concepts; development of OMB Exhibit 300
business cases, and cost estimating and analysis.
Required Experience: Working knowledge and experience with
program/project management functions including EVM, schedule management, risk
management, acquisition management, and ANSI standards.
Strong work ethic to accomplish tasks within stringent time
constraints. Organizational skills -
interaction with federal and contractor personnel is essential. Ability to self-manage and work effectively
under tight deadlines. Ability to
develop and monitor resource & cost loaded CPM schedules. Relying on experience and judgment to plan
and accomplish goals. Ability to perform
a variety of complicated tasks. Ability
to maintain and update project scope within a work breakdown structure. Ability to Report on unbudgeted work
activities.
Desired Experience: Experience in financial management
preferable. Experience with eCPIC (or similar), Primavera Project Planner or MS
Project MS Project Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering (any discipline), Science, or Information Systems, or Business
Administration..
